ON-SITE LOCATION BIDDERS:
In order to bid on a vehicle, you are required to register for a bidder number. All bidders must be 18 years of age or older and present a valid Driver's License or government issued ID. $200 refundable deposit required. Deposit is refunded if no vehicle is purchased.
ONLINE BIDDERS:

A valid credit card number is required for all online bidders.
ON-SITE BIDDERS / BUYERS
Registration Requirements All bidders must register to obtain a bidder number and agree to the auction rules and these terms and conditions before obtaining a bidder number.
To register, bidders must:

Be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older.

Present a valid government-issued photo identification or driver’s license.

Register with the name, address and ID for titlework.
Refundable Security Deposit A refundable security deposit of $200 is required at the time of registration. This deposit will be refunded in full if no vehicle is purchased.
A valid credit card number is acceptable at registration to secure the $200 deposit.
Binding Contract and Payment The acceptance of a winning bid constitutes a legally binding contract between the successful bidder and the seller/auction company.
The bidder is obligated to complete payment in full by 5pm auction day of purchase.
Failure to pay as required will result in:

Immediate forfeiture of the $200.00 security deposit.

The total unpaid balance being referred to CB1 Collection Agency for collection, together with any applicable collection costs, interest, and fees.
Vehicles sell two ways at Billings Public Auto Auction:
1) AS-IS
2) SALE GUARANTEE
Auctioneer will announce the sale status of the vehicle when it is on the auction block being sold.
CARS THAT SELL "AS-IS”="NO WARRANTY" are vehicles sold with no guarantee on the running and driving condition and cannot be rejected for any reason.
CARS THAT SELL "SALE GUARANTEE" are vehicles that the internal drive components are guaranteed during the post-auction inspection period as follows:
• The motor does not knock and does not overheat.
• The transmission will shift up and down correctly through all gears and not slip.
• The 4-wheel drive system will operate correctly in all ranges.
• The Sale Guarantee period is valid through 5:00pm sale day, or as determined by Auction Management, allowing the buyer the appropriate opportunity to inspect and drive the vehicle purchased. After the Sale Guarantee period, the vehicle is considered As Is.
• All other components of the car such as windows, check engine lights, doors, heat/air conditioning, seats, etc. are As-Is with no guarantee.
If any of the Sale Guarantee components do not meet requirements during the Guarantee period, auction staff will inspect your vehicle with you. If it is determined the car does not meet the Sale Guarantee requirements, your money is REFUNDED IN FULL and you are not required to purchase the vehicle.
Please note the Sale Guarantee period applies until 5:00pm sale day, providing you ample opportunity to inspect and drive the vehicle.
BPAA representatives will make the final decision regarding Sale Guarantee and/or Odometer Statement issues.
Purchaser agrees to accept ownership of merchandise/property when the auctioneer announces "SOLD" and he/she willingly assumes all responsibility and liability for said merchandise/property at that time and without exception. WINNING BID VEHICLES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY 5:00 PM ON SALE DAY. NON-PAYMENT WILL BE TURNED OVER TO COLLECTIONS!
Public Buyer’s fees posted below will be added to the contract purchase/sold price.

5. Letter of Credit from your bank with loan approval amount (BPAA buyer invoice will be provided to your bank for payment to BPAA)
